The good people at Bansa.Org have a very good program available for download
that will tanslate words from many of the dialects in the Philippines.
I highly recommend this for anyone wishing to have a translator on their computer.

Another very good program to have is Tagalog Translator developed by Stefan van Roosmalen.
This program is offered as freeware, and has over 5300 tagalog words in its dictionary.
You can search the dictionary by the English or Tagalog word.
This is a must have program for anyone wanting to learn Tagalog

For those wishing to learn Cebuano, the US Peace Corps has a 319 page PDF document
that will quickly have you speaking/understanding Cebuano.
